Asterisk VoIP private branch exchange and its distributions
Melichar, Ondřej ; Komosný, Dan (referee) ; Papež, Nikola (advisor)
This master’s thesis delves into the possibilities of the open-source Private Branch Exchange Asterisk, elaborates on its features and compares it with several other distros. The term SIP stack is explained here with the mention of two of its representatives. Further in the thesis, the security risks of the VoIP technology are explained, and specific attacks are described and then realized. As a part of the testing process, the possibilities of a custom module and its following implementation are explored, as well as the portability between the individual distros and its proper functioning.
SIP implementations in Asterisk open source PBX
Bednář, Vít ; Krajsa, Ondřej (referee) ; Šilhavý, Pavel (advisor)
The thesis compares native SIP stack with PJSIP stack in the open source telephone private branch exchange (PBX) Asterisk. First, there are described both SIP protocol and Asterisk application. Subsequently, the architecture, new function support and the stacks setting possibilities are explored. For different exchange scenarios several commented configuration files are presented. The stacks are tested using Spirent TestCenter C1 software thereafter. In conclusion, selected properties are assessed and new PJSIP stack benefits are summarized. In addition, the laboratory assignment is attached.
Dedicated VoIP communicator
Bičák, Tomáš ; Číka, Petr (referee) ; Caha, Tomáš (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis deals with the design of a simple VoIP communicator on a Raspberry Pi. An external ReSpeaker 2 Mics Pi HAT sound card is connected to the Raspberry Pi. The utility is written in the Python programming language.
Comparison of SIP implementations used in Asterisk and Kamailio open source PBX's
Rajj, Jakub ; Krajsa, Ondřej (referee) ; Šilhavý, Pavel (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the comparison and testing of private branch exchanges Asterisk and Kamailo. It also deals with the comparison of stack SIP and PJSIP. At the beginning of the thesis, there is a theoretical part describing private branch exchanges, SIP protocol and PJSIP. In the next section, the tested PBXs Asterisk and Kamailio are described and there is comparison of it´s functions. The private branch exchanges are installed, configured and tests are performed using the Spirent Testcenter C1. The results of the tests were processed into graphs and at the end there is a discussion about the results.
Dedicated VoIP communicator
Bičák, Tomáš ; Číka, Petr (referee) ; Caha, Tomáš (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor thesis was to build a VoIP communicator. This VoIP communicator is built on a Raspberry Pi Zero device with an external sound card. Raspbian operating system is installed on the Raspberry Pi. The PJSIP library is used as the software basis for VoIP communication. The created software allows you to automatically answer a call and make a call to defined addresses. The call is made after pressing the button.
Smart VoIP doorbell
Čecháček, Šimon ; Jedlička, Petr (referee) ; Caha, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses on the extension of an existing VoIP communicator on a single board computer Raspberry Pi, which uses the SIP protocol. The thesis introduces, among other things, an extension for one-way video transmission and conditional relay switching. The resulting communicator is able to make a call with two-way communication, execute a defined code using DTMF codes after authorization of the called user and switch a relay. The entire device is housed in a box printed on a 3D printer. The IT security of the proposed solution has been analyzed and the code and 3D model of the chassis are available on GitHub.
